Title: Winchester Super X2
Post by: Cajun1 on January 23, 2014, 08:20:22 PM
Hey guys I ran across a used Super X2 in woodland camo. 3-1/2" chamber 26" barrel. The gun looks to be in great shape and seems to not have been shot much. I don't know a lot about these guns other than they are invector + which means they are backbored. The shop is asking $575 for it. I would like to make it a waterfowl/ turkey gun. Is this a good deal?

Thanks,
Cajun1

Seems like a good deal if in real good shape. Both mine , a 24 and a 28" shoot good. Both 3 1/2"
Ok here we go , it likes the old original stardot, diamond knurled end choke. I shot a few carlsons ,ported and unported, CNC chokes, undertaker? SDot  was best.
With the magblend 3" it shoots 170's with the stardot, which is better than the hevi-tube at 145 or so.
In the lead it did great with old grandslam federals 3 1/2 4 or 5 shot, 2 oz.loads. or try a strutshok.
Snow geese with factory tubes and steel.
Doves, modified factory and the Rem. sure shot cycled just fine.
