Well the hunter wanted Walnut over American Chestnut and I learned a while back that wood burning on Chestnut flat out sucks and it doesn't show very well on Walnut so I told him why not top it with Cherry, that way I can do something for you...then he threw me a curve ball and said, "well heck, with all that room on the lid can you do a turkey dog scene with my John Byrne dog running in to a break site"?? Ah.... s u r e ...I guess, man, I stepped in it now and set myself up but good. Well here it is, I am moderately pleased with the result and it was a lot harder to do than planned, but I learned a lot. On the other hand the sound is as good as I can build. Surely hope the hunter, from Syracuse NY likes it and brings him many a gobbler, both spring and fall.
