I wanted to pattern these soon because from what I've been advised and have read, these would be the best bet for a better pattern out of my gun. But, Cabelas only has the 3.5 inch shells and the 3 inch shells are backordered for 10 weeks. The 3.5's almost took my shoulder off and I was flinching to prepare for the recoil which messed with the accuracy. Anyone know of a site or another way to get the 3's?
I just got a Bass Pro Redhead shooting catalog in the mail last Saturday. They had the 3" shells listed for $19.99. I don't know what they have in stock, though.
I just checked them. I'm hoping for #5's and it looks like they only have #4 and #6's. Just my luck lol. I may have to settle for another shot size.
I picked up 2 boxes od #6 at Basspro Saturday.
Guess I got lucky. Ordered one box of 3" number 4's from Cabelas. Just waiting for a decent day to pattern them. Hopefully b before the convention then get what I need to hunt with there. That's the plan at least.
I ordered 2 boxes the other day from bass pro website. 4's and6's, didn't have 5's . 3 inch shells
I just got a box of 3 inch 6 shot in the mail from Bass Pro. Looking forward to trying them out...was going to today but its cold and pouring the snow. So I'll try this weekend or next week sometime.
Bass Pro just got them in 3 inch #5's so I ordered a box. Can't wait to see how they pattern.
The gander mountain by me had 3.5" 4 and 5 shot along with 3" 5 and 6 shot.

I was at Bass Pro Shop in Harrisburg, PA on Saturday and they had a large selection of 3" and 3.5".
Anybody had the chance to pattern yet?
They are some in the patterns section. Last time I looked it was mostly #4's. I shot one#5 3 1/2" through a mossy 835 with IC 675. I got 186 in 10" but it wasn't very pretty. Probably need to shoot 6's or open it up a little for the 5's.
