Guys, I would like to find a Star Dot Xtra full for my Remington 870 SM 12ga. I have seen a few on ebay buy it says improved on the packages, which is a bit confusing. If anyone has one in excellent condition please respond in here or in a pm with a price including shipping.
I would pass if I were you. I had one and I wasn't impressed. I sold it.
Those chokes on ebay from that same seller out of AL is either adding those imp cyl or skeet labels on the package or something for original Star Dot chokes were only made in extra full turkey chokes.
All the original Star Dot chokes made for Rem were .668.
I think Win/Browning/Moss 500 were .668 as well.
Moss 835 Star Dots were .676.
I just looked on the back of my package that I know is an original Star Dot choke.
All chokes were .668 except the Moss 835 which was .676.
Anyone says any different is full of it.
That is strange, I wonder why there is Improved stickers on the packages...
