Always been a fan of Aluminum, and have a couple cheaper ones that work well, but really no difference between the two.
Will a Custom Aluminum, make a noticeable difference with this call? Or do most have the same rasp and pitch? As with glass they seem to vary a lot and just wasn't sure of Aluminum? As if buying a Custom one would be a noticeable difference for the better, and if so, what one?
Their are different types of aluminum surfaces, anodized aluminum, bead blasted anodized aluminum and the plain silver aluminum. They do all have a different sound and different ways of conditioning them, my personal favorite is the anodized surface. I have about 15 custom aluminum calls and Darrin Dawkins makes an outstanding one, Gary Andersons Shedua is top notch and Clint Corder makes a great aluminum call. If you like the plain silver aluminum Bill Lymans wenge is really good. For the bead blasted Wendall Ryes yellowheart is a great call, also I have Woodhavens vision aluminum and really like it also. I probably forgot a few but these are what I like. Scoot
I like the.090 thickness aluminum over .080 it makes a guge difference as well and the anodized blasted is a really nice aluminum as well.
Call me at 229-315-2229 and I show you the difference, I have some from most call makers on here and they are a huge difference.
Thanks
Chad
