Title: Mid-Late May Hunt

4pm May 19 -May 26 is my off time this year...looking for suggestions on spring turkey hunt...spring should be late so the dates should be good for states that go through May.  I can always trade a good eastern hunt also.  Thanks

Michigan has a May hunt.Usually about the 8th through the end of the month.

 Utah's general season hunt runs through the end of May.  Tags are unlimited and lots of public land.

How is the pressure and population?

Kansas does too, but our population has suffered in the couple years. Hatches down 50-60% this year.

NH has a May 3-31st. You can only get one bird, but our numbers are good.

After the first week or so of the hunt you will basically have the whole mountain to yourself.  When I say mountains I mean you will probably want to hunt Merriams since our Rios will have had considerable more pressure by then since they are easier to find.  As for our numbers they are incredible right now.  If we don't have a bad winter there will be tons of birds this spring.
