is it worth any thing? or how would you go about cutting it up for calls. just hate to push it over in the woods. it is 2 feet across the stump

Wow I would love to have that lumber. Take it to a mill and see if they could cut it for you.

I posted them on craigslist for 2 months and no calls. that stump has got to go 2 tons or more all my 100 hp tractor will pick up. thought people used them for gun stocks and turning bowls?

Your black walnut could be useful to a gun stocker. I would suggest checking with the fellows over on the Double Gun bulletin board. Someone there should know.

Get a bottle of tightbond3 glue and coat the end , to help seal it up and stop it from splitting
That stump has got to have some nice figure in its grain
im going to put it inside a big barn i have and try to cut it up this spring, or give it to someone that can cut it up. hate to see it rot
