Hey I'm getting a tristar 3 1/2 magnum camo o/u 12 gauge!!! Any thoughts?
Thanks should be a good season :newmascot:
Also outa the two camo finishes wich will be best for hunting in southern virginia
One thought is to try 3" shells first and then decide on the 3.5" shells. Be sure of the POA/POI from top and bottom barrel regardless. It can be critical at 30 vs. 40 yards, but usually not a miss necessarily. I have an O/U 3" 12 and a SXS 20 gauge and recoil difference is huge. and extra weight is noticeable in the 12 ga.
did you get to shoot your 10 gauge yet or decided on what comboto run in your stoeger?
Not yet trying to decide which combo
:TrainWreck1:sorry if do have the 10 gauge I do not have the. O/u 12 gauge
Hunted allot with over and under. Browning Citori full/ mod. Killed allot of turkey's with 3 in 5's. Gun would shoot 4's and 6's as well but the 5's seemed to be the best compromise. 35 yds and under it was a killer. Have a 3 inch 20 o/u. Shoots amazing patterns at 30yds with factory chokes and Pb 5's. 20guage shoots good with Pure Gold 555,570.
