Post by: gotcha on November 18, 2013, 07:58:05 PM
A buddy has 1 and needs some direction on shell/choke.Its 12 gauge and auto,it will shoot 3.5".Beretta threads. He is wanting a good hunting pattern rather than a 10" paper plate killerThanks.

Have a buddy that shoots a Pure Gold with 3" hevi mag blends and 6s. He gets around 215 average with both.

There are a variety of chokes that seem to work well with those guns. The most important component is probably the shell. I'd recommend 3" Hevi-13 with 2 oz. of #6 shot, or the 3" Magnum Blend shells with 2 oz. of shot.

Thanks,
