Its legit, film will be available this year at the national convention.  Several items have been auctioned on ebay to raise money for the film.  Tried to get a few calls but they went for crazy $$$$

I donated a set of calls that were auctioned. Pretty sure it's legit.

The film is 100% legit. The project is being done by my good friend and outdoor writer JJ Reich. He is the PR guy for ATK , they own many brands including Federal Premium. He is also a staff writer for North American Hunter and writes for Turkey Country and Turkey and Turkey Hunting. The film is a full length documentary about turkey hunting and turkey callmaking. Jj followed three callmakers, Dave Constantine, Eric Rice, and Steve Stortz as they built calls for the 2013 NWTF convention. It is promising to be a great watch . Jj has been accepting and auctioning custom calls donated by many callmakers including myself to raise the necessary funds for production costs. I donated a 3 call set of one of my Stepside longboxes, a scratchbox and one of my new trough calls which are on the auction block next month and are pictured in the latest Turkey Country magazine in an article about trough calls. You can help support the project by joining in the auctions on ebay.

Definitely legit. I've seen a short trailer and if the rest is as good, it will be well worth the wait. Thanks to the callmakers who contributed.

By now I'd be looking for my good friend JJ. He did mention that there were alot of cost with the editing of this film....and several good people donated.

I posted to JJ's FB page asking about the project and he never responded. Haven't heard a word about this unless it's someone posting somewhere asking what's going on with it

Check out the full fiasco on osage roost....there were MANY call makers how donated numerous calls towards this project.....as shadetree has done.   The calls were all sold through ebay years ago and the project collected the money. He needed money for the high cost of editing the film he was working on....Personally, I smelled a rat from day one...but who knows...I've been wrong before.
