Hey my dad got me a 10 gauge yesterday and I was wondering how this gun did on turkeys

That will be plenty of gun!  I have never fired a pardner, but I having fired other single shots I will tell you to hold tight!  The light weight of those guns make them nice to carry, but they can be punishing!  Find a good load and hope you don't have to spend much time at the patterning board!

It's an extra full choke barrel but I thing it will take chokes

I have one and it's my main turkey gun.  I put fiber optic sights on it and a limb saver recoil pad.  I use Winchester turkey loads and it patterns great with the factory choke.
