That's the only way I like a rattler, DEAD!  I've encountered two in my life and that was enough.

The guv'ment is trying to get the eastern diamond back on the threatened species list in Alabama in fear that there is a population decline, basically due to lower numbers being turned in at the Opp rattlesnake roundup.
This covers catching, killing,or even agricultural practices deemed as harmful to the habitat , breeding and other requirements, etc.

Note: A limit was put on the number of snakes entered per person years ago.   Go guv'ment!!

Not to mention the tree huggers from Arizona that sued and stopped many rattlesnake round ups from actually catching snakes. Ive seen more killed by people this year than ever before. Heard of more bites tahn any other year either.

Nope, one of my new home owners. Moved in about month and a half ago and have had to kill two timber rattlers.

I really don't care what the gov't says. If I am in the woods and see a poisonous snake, I'll kill it. :fud:
