Anyone here how he did
Nope. He hasnt posted on any of the other boards yet. Will be sharing the woods with him in a few weeks.
Knowing him, there are a few less now than when he got there
He is presently on the 7th day of getting his hindend handed to him by Osceola turkeys. Sitting over the DSD as I type bc that's the only option, winds gusting through again today at 20-30mph. I'm afraid the 6 year successful streak may be broken, still have 2 days though!
Drove 650 miles, pulled into the spot at 2:30am Sat and had a bird gobbling 200 yards away at daylight- spot on! His hen tree hopped to 40 yards (got that on video) and he pitched down and headed straight to us. Hit his mark at about 60 yards out of sight, this was fine and dandy bc he was too excited not to finish but he never had a chance. I still don't know what it is about these people down here that think they can walk up to the bird without it seeing them. So that was boogered. Never thought that would be the highlight thus far, but it is.
On a positive note, I've gathered some pretty good footage of a half dozen jakes jumping on Roxanne (my new DSD).
Looking forward to looking at the vid...hope your luck changes!!
Good luck bud hunt your azz off, call call call and it will happen

What 4 a day LOL Glad to hear that
I'll get some pics up tonight hopefully. Had an uncle pass while I was away and I've gotta make my rounds tonight visiting but should have some time to get something up for a little viewing pleasure. Ole boy gotta little close for those Hevi's, his head got raked across the coals!
Sorry to hear about your uncle Dave, prayers sent.
So I am guessing the 7s did the job you were hoping?
That makes an even dozen those 7s have punished with me at the trigger. Very pleased on this end, they aren't on the other end.
Good job!! Congrats! :z-guntootsmiley:
Sorry to hear about the loss of your uncle! Prayers sent for your family :jesus-cross:
