Been working with pappy and a few different woods. These are a hewned out boxed tongue calls, one is a chestnut over purpleheart and the other is a walnut over cherry, both are ran with the cedar striker. These little calls will run a kee kee like you've never heard, better that any alum. call that I've ever ran. The walnut/cherry will be in my vest this fall. Both have that raspy hollow sound of an old hen/jake. Will be trying a few more different woods on my next ones.
