Well guys I have to say it feels mighty fine to be posting another call...it's been a while and even better to have spent a little time in the shop as of late. Many of you know my life has been totally consumed by work for about 7-8 weeks now, but it is starting to soften up and I scooped some quality time in the shop last weekend. That is the good part...the frustrating part is working with American Chestnut. As some of know all too well, you have have some pieces that by appearances look ideal for a great sounding call...that is until you open it up. Fortunately, when ever I do build with Chestnut I always build 2 of them and such is the case I needed both of them this time.
This is Walnut over A Chestnut with a little quiet deserted Farmstead, perhaps what you might find in the midwest or the south. The customer loves the tail feathers and HATE AS I DO to burn on Chestnut...we got her done! Thanks for looking.
