I have recently received a true piece of American Folk Art, it is one of my friend M Sharpe's custom wingbone yelpers. It is a fine piece for sure! The call is made from hen bones and a gobbler bone, the mouthpiece and middle section is made of the hen bones and the gobbler bone is the bell of the call. It is a one of a kind of Mr. Sharpe's calls and I can almost promise no one else has one exactly like mine. :D He stained the call for me and wrapped it in a nice dark green where it will not stick out while hunting. Right now this call is a main piece on my mantle but I know Mr. Sharpe expects it to be in the woods next season chasing those beautiful longbeards and I can assure you it will be around my neck this coming season.
It makes a mature hen sound with rasp that the two notes of the yelp break perfectly and the clucks are nice a sharp just the way I like them. It is versatile by making then hen notes but it can also produce wonderful gobble notes as well. This call is hand made and you will not find a finer call that brings you back to the days of old! Thanks again Mr. Sharpe!

Donald, glad you like that call. Several different circumstances came up making it. Hope you kill a bunch using it.
Mark
Mark makes some fine wing bone and cane yelpers. He is a true craftsman, and a great guy,to deal with. I have three of his calls, and they won't be the last!
Congrats to both of you, that's a good one for sure. ;)
Thanks everyone! You will not find a better callmaker or guy! Mr. Mark knows his turkey hunting!
That is very sharp. Love it
