Title: Jakes Day Donation Calls
Post by: Austy on July 20, 2013, 04:11:04 PM
Here are 2 Yelpers headed south for a Jakes Day event.  The first call was turned from a piece of Locust Burl wood with a resin mixture that was donated by Justturnin (Chris) from Texas.  Chris was looking for a volunteer to turn a Yelper out of a piece of his stock and I volunteered.  I hope Chris likes the end result from his donation.

This second call is my donation to the Jakes Day and is Sycamore with a feather and some turkey tracks burned onto the call.  Both calls have a CA finish and Delrin Feral and mouth piece.

Thanks for the look.

Those look great Austin.  Thanks for turning that call for me.  I wanted to be able to give something but I lack the call making skill by a LOOONG shot.  Thanks again.  I hope.....I know some kid is going to love these.
