I saw this wood on facebook, it is call Acacia.
Thought some of you might be interested. Maybe a new wood for trumpets?

My hardwood floors are Acacia. Awesome contrast and variation.

Acacia makes a beautiful caller. I have held several of Billy Buice's trumpets made of Acacia ( I believe he got the wood from Israel)

I would love to have some for a set of Buice calls........ :toothy9:
