just got my new sumtoy and I have a question. When I screw it into my M2 barrel, there is a small gap between the barrel and the part of the choke that is the same outside diameter as the barrel. Is that ok or do I need to call Sumtoy and have them check it out? here is a pic of what I am talking about. The choke screws into the barrel nice and the threads seem to be good that is why I am asking. Thanks for the help!!!!

Its fairly common on extended chokes to have a slight gap like the one your describing. This is so that the choke seats fully down inside the barrel. If you think their may be an issue give William a call and ask him about it.He is a great guy and i'm sure he will be able to answer your question.Sumtoy makes a great choke,i love mine!
None of the ones i own or have handled have a gap. Id call William and at least ask. It may not be a big deal.
Give Wm a call and he will fix you up
I agree with the others that you should call William. My choke that he made for me does not have a gap neither. I am sure he will fix the problem for ya.
The skirt is probably just a hair long, call William he will do you right.
You gentlemen are correct,i checked my sumtoy and it does not have a gap,but a few of my other xtended chokes from other manufacturers have a very slight gap.I should have looked at the picture a little closer, time for me to get a pair of stronger glasses!
Have that same occurrence on an m2 I rigged up for a buddy!
