Title: Lonnie Sneed calls?
Post by: turkeykiller22 on June 25, 2013, 01:55:27 PM
I have seen the numerous calls on how good Mr. Sneeds calls sound, and I am wanting to order one or two or three!! How much do they run??  I was also wondering if anyone has some videos running his calls, or maybe a sound file? Which call do you recommend of his? Also how can I get in touch with him??

Sorry for all the questions!!

I've got 3 of his calls and they all sound great. Call him and he'll play a few over the phone for ya. I understand that it's hard to tell about a call this way but it can certainly give you an idea. I told Mr. Sneed the sound I was looking for and we went from there. After talking hunting with him for a good long while he played another call and I said that's the one I want. He let me know that it was one of his old calls that he hunts with and that it's a little beat up and scratched up. I didn't care about the looks. It still is a beautiful call, but you can tell its seen it's days afield. It's hands down my favorite pot call.

I think that he raised his prices this past year.  His pot calls are now about $30 each.

Give him a call at 304-425-3021. I took him some wood this morning and he told me he is about caught up on orders.

Mine sound great as well. He is good people. Lonnie jr makes good calls too.
Carry one of them most every time. The old raspy hen with the leather cover is my favorite slate.
