Hi guys I got some Hevi 13 #6 and #7 in 3 and 3.5 inch, and I also got some Mag Blend in 3 and 3.5 inch. I have 2 Rem 870's one with a 20 inch barrel and one witha 26 inch barell. I would like to know what choke you guys are having luck with. I have a SSX, Wrights #3, and a Jellyhead in .660. I will shoot these chokes but didn't get to the range yet but was wondering if you guys found a good combo. THANKS!!!!

You have 2 of the 3 best chokes I've tried with those guns. I think you'll see your best patterns with the 3" shells with the 26" barrel. I'd recommend that you "deep clean" the bores and the chokes.

I have a 23" barrel with the jh 660. I get 191 with an unpolished bore. 3.5" mag blends.
I believe it will do better once polished. I can see many imperfections down my barrel.
The jh660 seems like it was made for the 870.

I have an older 870 with a 26" barrel and it loves the SSX choke and the 3" magnum blends. Barrel was cleaned but not real good and at 40 yards I got 211 in the 10" circle.
the chokes you have are fine.. no need to buy anything else. HEVI #7 will definitely put up the numbers. you should be 250++
I also believe that the JH would work just fine. As Clark said, remember to Deep Clean the bore and choke. I think you will be happy with that combo.
Not to be a stick in the mud here but when you say Rem 870, you mentioned shootin 3.5 shells through it? So you have a Super Mag, right?
Btw, Im getting a JellyHead choke for my 835. I hear so many good thing's about these choke's. Can shoot Hevi shot, copper plated lead, and lead through them.

I was not tryin to be smart about it..lol Some noob's would be tryin to feed 3.5" shell's in their 870's. Believe me, they are out there ::) .
