How much different is the sound of it than ceramic? Is it a good surface to use?
I wish I could tell you... I've never heard of a corian surfaced call. Not saying it doesn't exist or isn't possible, just never heard of it. I know some folks use it for soundboards, but never heard of it being used for a surface.
I don't know of any custom callmakers that make one but I ran a knight and hale white liar corian surfaced pot and it was okay. Scoot
Thanks guys I was just curious. The white liar was the call I saw with the corian surface.
I played the white liar and wasn't impressed with it. I don't think will be a good surface.
I figured it probably wasn't a good option since the custom guys don't use it. After buying some calls from the guys on here, I won't buy any production calls.
One of these days I am going to make a corian pot call. I've used it for soundboards but never the surface.

I would really like to hear about the call when you make it. I'm curious about the sound of this surface.
Ive played with some that had a corian surface.. it sounded dead compared to a good ceramic surface.
Myabe it was just the two I tried, it just didn't seem exciting like I like a call to be.
Coyote1 check out the Corian pot I made. Let me know what you think.
