Just a fast and short one this morning.
Matthews 7,8.... Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Absolutely no where in God's word does it say for a believer NOT to pray. Jesus always encouraged man to get on their knees to seek out God, and that is that. Some (men) want you to believe that prayer is not needed as you are not going to change God's mind, they had better read what they are tryiing to preach.
You have a need, take it to God, you have a confession, take it to God. You and I are living by faith, and by faith I get on my knees as much as I possibly can on behalf of friends and neighbors and yes, even my enemies.
Let no (man) fool you into thinking you need not pray!
