Any of you guys know what type of wood this is?
Found out it is called Silky Oak.
Just want to know if will make a good call? Trumpet? Pot? Box?

man that would look great stabilized wouldn't it? I bet it is hard as a rock, some kind of oak maybe?

I dont know but I would call it bacon wood.
And that would make a beautiful call.

For some reason I want to say curly sheoak but who knows that guess is a long shot.
