Hunted up in Northern NE a almost 3 weeks ago. Birds strutting everywhere but extremely henned up. Would not break off at all but if you caught one wo hens it was game over. Anyway, everyone was saying they were 2 weeks behind so you should be hitting it pretty good. Had some other contacts in that part of country at similar time w similar results. Good luck.

Hunted there this past Friday, Saturday and Sunday and birds were red hot.  Henned up early but had good hunts up in the day.  Took one bird right off the roost and all the others were late morning and afternoon.  Should still be great hunting all the way through the end of season.
