Post by: redrod14 on March 09, 2011, 08:26:13 AM
I'm just starting out this year so I was going to buy a pop up blind and I'm on tight budget. KillZone Turret Pop-Up Style Ground Blind wood this be a good starter blind?

That should be fine.  It looks quite similar to an Ameristep Doghouse.  I like 'em, but they don't seem to handle high winds as well as some hub-style blinds do.  The walls tend to flap a little.

I don't turkey hunt from blinds, but we use em for deer stands at times.  The Doghouse only runs about $40 and works like a champ. Plenty of room for two people and very easy to set up.
