Title: Turkey hunting in hail

I can now honestly say I've been turkey hunting in a hailstorm. And incase you were wondering, it sucks.

Yes it does!!! Got caught one time it hailed and rained so hard felt like my shoulders were going to be bruised  LoL

That had to suck. Sat down in a inch of snow one and got up in 5 inches.Gobblers were hollering though.

Yep...it happened to me for the first time this year, too.  Fortunately, the hunt just finished, and hail started as I was carrying the bird back to the truck.  It wasn't very big, probably pea-sized, but the wind was howling, and it was blowing sideways.  The first stone that hit me smacked me right in the eye.

Man that had to hurt getting smacked In the eye with a piece of hail. Maybe I need to add some saftey glasses to my vest. But atleast u got a bird.(
