Title: Black Morels

Found over 200 black morels over the last 3 days in northern Michigan. I go North each year just prior to mothers day to attempt to find some for my wife. Hit it pretty good this year.

Looks very good. Wish I was still picking em. But I did find over 800 this year in TN which is a new personal best

That is so fantastic!! You northern guys have no idea how lucky you are to have them! The shrooms we find down south will make you see psychedelic :TooFunny: but they ain't morels. That's for sure!!

I was in the Houghton Lake area.  It turned cold Friday and had snow Sunday. Heading back North later in the week on the rising temps.

Been a great year for morels in Missouri, I know of a couple guys that are up to 40lbs or more. I've found around 7 or 8 on just a couple trips out. I usually don't get into mushroom hunting much, usually it coincides with turkey season and the turkeys win. But with the weird weather this year the shrooms were really popping up late, after our wwaaaaayyyy too short turkey season was over.
