great turkey
CONGRATULATIONS!! :z-guntootsmiley:
nice turkey
I really enjoyed that video. Beautiful bird that I'd love to have mounted in my hunting room. I've been waiting for a special bird to have mounted, due to the expense, and that smokey grey would be the one. Was a bit surprised on the 2 3/4 shells. I don't know of anyone shooting less than 3" anymore. Last year my wife and me regularly saw a hen in a red phase that was absolutely beautiful, and just couldn't get a decent picture of her. Is a red phase as unusual as a smokey grey?
I think the red is rarer. I have seen smoky grey hens where I hunt but never a gobbler. Seen pics of the reds and they are beautiful birds for sure.
pretty bird!

I have pictures of a Smokey hen I saw on two different occasions in York County, Pa. My buddy has been hunting a Smokey gobblers for 2 years now in Indiana County.
