do you have a vest and/or calls dedicated to take only if its raining? My vacation request got denied for next weekend so I only have this weekend left to hunt and it's supposed to rain. I'm a little anal about my "good stuff" getting wet. I figure I'll take my old gun a mouth call my frog toggs and thinking about running to wally world and getting a wet box.
I try not to wear my vest when its raining, and I'm not that anal lol its just a pain to have to dry everything out. If I'm out and it starts raining,oh well.but if its raining before hand i usually take just my wingbone, diaphrams and maybe an aluminum pot and go
Our pot call/striker pouches, box call are water proof now, we sandwich an 1/8 inch layer of closed cell foam in the middle for this reason.We dont like leaving any wood gear exposed to the elements
