I noticed that some pot calls have like slate on top and glass on the bottom. I was wondering if there is any loss in quality or volume in sound with these calls? I would think it would be nice to have 2 tones on one call but not sure whether quality is lost? Are there any disadvantages?
Let me help you out, I have made over 100 plus dual pots in 2012-13 season , with everything from titanium to slate as a primary and slate to aluminum as a secondary. there is no loss in sound quality, I have had reported over 18 kills with my duals this spring alone, what does this say about dual pots? They are THE best advantage a turkey hunter could have who enjoys a pot call to hunt with.
