Hardest turkey hunt I have ever been on.
Rain Snow 20-30 mph wind with gusts to 35 ,
Temps as low as 27 and high as 47
But I managed to get 2 down .
Both were young-uns so no upgrade yet
But still have 2weeks in Ohio and maybe
Wv. We start home in the morning
I will post pics and a couple lies. I mean
Stories when I get home.
I had a BLAST trying to figure them out.
Congrats!!
Way to stick with it!!
Had 3 buddies who were supposed to leave Friday evening to go to Kansas. They backed out due to the snow.
Can't say I blamed them.
God Bless,
David B.
Well we made it home safe and had a hunt to remember!!!! The weather man threw everything but the
farmers bull at us . All kidding aside we did have a great hunt in my mind due to the different things we had to overcome .I let a Jake walk the first day and ended up taking one and a bearded hen ,that
was the prettiest turkey I have ever looked at .She had extra white tips on her feathers and my buddy wanted to have her mounted for his brothers taxidermist studio . I don't normally take jakes or HENS
but time was up on the last day SO I brought them home with me . Sorry no upgrade yet !!!
