Title: Beretta e100 Pintail choke tube
Post by: jdj263 on May 03, 2013, 07:51:13 AM
Just picked up a Beretta e 100 and I want to make it my next turkey gun. Has anyone had any experience with this shotgun?if so what choke / 3" load recommendation?  I have tried several different rounds through a HS .663 and a carlson .650 not really happy with any. The old federal 5 shot  turkey load patterned the best through the carlson. Any suggestions would be appreciated. JD

I had one many years ago and killed turkeys with a Mad Max choke and the old Fed Premium 3" #5 shot. If I was starting over with a mobilchoke gun today I would run Hevi-13 3-2-7s or 3-2-6s through a Sumtoy. Give William a call. I'm sure he has a choke worked up for this gun shooting lead or hevi.
