I know everyone would like to be retired,but being retired and waiting on turkey season is pure punishment. :character0029: :character0029:

I retired Oct. of 99. The waiting is tedious but I don;t have worry about someone with seniority getting my vacations dates.Turkey wasn't really a problem,but deer season in Nov. was tough to get off.

2years, 9months, 22days and some hours.  Then, I'll tell you if I can  stand it or not!

Ya that really sucks having to work on opening weeken! sorry man. But If you can get out during the week I know I have more success in the middle than on the weekend. Good luck to you.

Thanks for the "Heads up"..... I'm a newbie at this retirement thing. Retired in Jan..
 Guess I'll just have to suffer though it .   :'(

You are so right I retired the first of March and turkey season is never going to get here.

Yeah, thanks for being considerate enough to warn everyone, but I think I'm still willing to risk it anyway.

(Hate wishing my life away....but I'm ready for the next level of punishment of staying home and watch the snow fall, instead of getting up and driving to work in it....)
