Title: A good ending after a sour beginning!
Post by: Jbird22 on April 28, 2013, 08:05:55 PM
After a loooong, frustrating season marred by poachers, predators, and high water I was finally able to connect with one yesterday morning! This was only the second turkey I actually sat down and called to all season. Between the wing and the Hooks Jr Executioner 2 this old boy just couldn't take it.  :D

Beard - 9-3/4"
Spurs - 7/8"

What's ironic about the pic is those boots (Lacrosse Mudlite Snakeproof) you see me wearing were the same ones I was wearing (for the 1st time) when I had my treestand accident on Oct 13, 2012. This hunt was the 2nd time I wore them due to my ankle being too swollen to wear them until now. I jokingly told my wife that maybe there's hope for them after all. lol
