Catdaddy likes to kill them with sticks, I prefer my trusty old shotgun.

I actually was very lucky today. I was walking out of the swamp as a thunderstorm was rolling in fast. I had to walk through some high grass and didn't see him until he was striking. I saw him just in time to jump back a little and he got a face full of Nitros instead of my leg.

He was as thick as my wrist and in the second pic he's laid out next to my shooting sticks which are 34 inches long.

Nice job. I classify snakes the same as coyotes, the only good one is a dead one

Did you crap your pants?   I know I would of.  Glad your ok.  Thanks for the picture.  I like looking at pictures of snakes.  Dead or alive don't matter much to me.

Are those the Predator Sniper Styx?  Looks a lot like a set I have. 

That would have made a nice hat band.
