Finally got on one this morning. Saw him and another gobbler cross a road about 150 yards from me. Waited until they went up the hill and I snuck up to the same level of the valley fill they were on and gave a couple yelps and 30 seconds later I was standing on his head. Awesome weather and some good scenery as well. 18.25 lbs, 1/1/8 spurs, and 9/7/8 beard.

That is a nice un for sure, and the scenery. , well lets just say it is certainly more appealing than a pine thicket. Ha
Nice. I got out Thursday and had four gobbling but couldn't get any of them to come in. Had inservice today in Morgantown so I won't get out again till next Thursday.
