A friend gave me a turtle shell call today.
I'm rather impressed. It's handcarved wood but is easily mistaken for the real thing. It purrs so sweet!

Made by a guy named Robert Ditta out of Fayetteville, AR. The man is a talented fella! Note the Tailfan carved in the back. :icon_thumright:
That is some fine work, very nice. Does he have a web site or anything?
I don't know about a website. Google shows where he placed in a call making contest but I don't see a website on the search page. My friend got two of them in trade and gave me one. The guy is new to call making and is trying to get his name out I'm told. I was impressed so I thought I'd pass it along. I don't know the man but his carving is impressive.
That's a awesome call. Who makes it?
That's a awesome looking call!
