Title: Tough Morning In SE Ohio

COOOOOLLLD!!!cold one this morning in belmont county i had 34 degrees down in the holler...the birds were very quiet at day break not a sound....but around 7:30 am me and my brother walking on an old logging road that connects to a big field and i screamed a loud yelp with my mouth call and one answered so we set up in this thicket and my brother was doing some float calling and the gobbler was cutting him off every sequence of calls....but like always he got within 70 yards and shut up  >:( and never made another sound....but it was good getting out there...tomorrow will be better only supposed to get down to 50 degrees tonite....so anyway anybody else have a tough opener in ohio?????

We had three gobbling on the roost but after they flew down they went silent over here in Auglaize county. I believe it was 35 degrees when we set up, sure got cold after them gobblers stopped talking.
