Title: Headed to MO
Post by: jblackburn on April 18, 2013, 10:39:18 PM
Well, tomorrow morning the wife, kids, and I are headed to MO to visit family and I will be getting a few days of turkey hunting back in my old stomping grounds!  The price of out of state tags will hurt a little, but chasing birds on dad's farm where it all began will be worth it!  He told me he is seeing them everywhere this year!  Hopefully, I'll have pics of a big old MO bird to post in a couple days!

Just a heads up, the birds suck right now.  The sun never shines anymore and now all the creek bottoms flowing rivers.  We had good luck opening day in NE MO but the birds are very quiet after they fly down. If you have them patterned though, then you have a great chance of layin one down.  Good luck.
