Title: Got an Arkansas Toothpick finished...pappy

Made this one out of stabilized buckeye burl with a buffalo horn mouthpiece. ARTP39 - 8-1/2" long. thanks for looking, pappy

Man that thing sure is pretty. Excuse the noobie question here but. Whats that piece of wood on the mouth piece used for? I see it on most all of those calls, but never having used one I'm curious. Thanks.

They are lip stops used to help you set the distance the mouth piece will go into your mouth. Kind of a physical memory thing. Thanks for the comments everyone, she is headed to classies and ebay....

I see said the blind man. Im somewhat fairly new to turkey hunting, so Im still learning about the differant calls. With out a doubt thats a fine one.
