Post by: chaz_Z7 on April 16, 2013, 07:31:59 PM

I hunt on the Kentucky line (eastern) in Tennessee mid day is trick right now 11:00 -2:00 there not as hened up there alittle easier to work with,so if you can hang in there till then it may up your chances!

Very very hennaed up in central and eastern KY. Each bird I worked on this past weekend had multiple hens with him. Mid day and later season hunts will get you more action.

They can see a LONG ways in the woods right now, so if you move, do it over the break of the hill, etc.   Midday and even early eve is good as well.
