When us GA Boys hit the woods we have everything we need to call a turkey no matter the situation!!!  :you_rock: I carry more than that in my vest!

The same for this guy in Alabama. I have 4 pots, 8-10 strikers, several mouth calls, owl hooter, crow call, extra gloves and masks, extra shells, drink or two, etc etc. Last year one of the pockets ripped at the seams it was so full. I also had crap hanging from my vest too, and a buddy of mine told me I was prepared for anything like MacGuyver. I try and downsize every year, but there are so many necessities.  ;D

I always start the season with too many "necessity items".....after the first couple of weeks my vest is only half full!!!!

You can tote a little more when you aint running up and down hills. :happy0064:

Not sure why I carry so much.....they usually dont make it past that first mouth call, unless I pull the slate out first. Hell I didnt even bother listing the thermocell, two bottles of water, TP batteries, knife, GPS, decoys, extra gloves, mask, shells. It all has a pocket though.  All that goes in a XL Limbhanger vest.

Tell ya what........I think we got a group of killers on this team. We may not kill heavy birds, but I bet our team puts up the ten bird team limit fast, faster than the others.

(10 bird count up quick)

I wouldn't be surprised.  Tn has a bunch of bunched up birds and I'm sure Alabama does to, talking about farm land birds that are still holding flocks of 50 to 100 birds. There are always toms on the fringe, slipping around.
