After a non eventfull hunt in Miss. This morning was textbook in Arkansas, heard one at daybreak, started to him when this one fired up way across the pine, the close one hushed so we aired out, he hushed as we managed to get on the same side of the creek he was on, eased a little farthur and set up, tried a slate n all was quiet, hit the wingbone and he fired right back from 200+, 5 minutes later he gobbled on his on at 60 yards, gobbled again to the right of us, i bumped the wingbone lightly, gobbled twice and came to the avian x strutting, spitting, and drumming, 25 yard shot. 13/16 spurs, 11-1/4 beard, 19#. This uear is Claytons last youth hunt, putting em on the ground since he was 6

Congrats on a good looking bird......
Appreciate it fellas. The real good news is we listened on the way home, heard at least three in one general area, know where we'll be in the morning. Good hunting to all !
Congrats Clayton and Greg! That's one awesome bird right there. When a hunt like that comes together, memories are made for a life time. :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright:
