I bought a Stoeger Condor 20 ga for my wife and I am looking for choke recommendations. I know they have the same thread patters as the Winchester, Mossberg 500, Browning Invector, and Weatherby chokes.
I plan on shooting Nitro straight 7's in it, and I want to make it a good 40 yard and in turkey gun. You guys give me some good recommendations on where to start.
I am leaning towards Indian Creek in a .562's right now. I've been hearing good things about them shooting TSS, but will they get good results with the Nitro #7's?
Help me out here fellas.
Just call Nitro and tell them what you are shooting and they will tell you a choke to run.
I would personally start with an IC 555 or Sumtoy 562.
My 20 Loves the Sumtoy .562 with Fed 3" 7s.
Mine like the mossberg x-factor .584. Check out my patterns in the pattern section
Thanks for the feedback so far.
Talked to IC yesterday and they recommended the .555 black diamond strike. I haven't been able to raise anyone on the phone as of yet at Nitro Ammo Co.
I use a IC.555 in my 870 with a handload that is similar to the nitro #7's and I get excellent patterns with it. Like Daman said try IC or Sumtoy.
