Title: My First Box Call
Post by: Jay Wirth on April 10, 2013, 10:56:26 AM
I made this from a piece of Popular from our local big lumber store. I used a Danish oil to stain / seal the box; Its not real pretty but makes an acceptable sound. I have recently ordered some pre-formed hardwood lids to see if there is a difference in combining different materials.

I'm looking forward to May 1st to see how it works.

Shoot, as long as it sounds good, the pretty stuff will come later. I would definitely rate sound more important than looks. Congrats on your build..............Scott

Nothing like hunting with a call that you made.  Especially if you call one in with it.
Good luck.
