Title: Alabama double/triple beard?
Post by: Hhayes6 on April 09, 2013, 10:47:03 AM
How many have you guys killed? I want to get one full mounted if I ever killed one. I didn't know if it was just random or it's genetics. My uncle killed a triple beard were we hunt but it was 15 years ago. I have killed several and have cameras spread out and only single Paintbrush beards! I am more than happy with that just curious how many of y'all bama boys have killed one with more than 1 beard?

You're not always going to be able to see multiple beards on a trailcam.  Lots of times they lay flat against each other and look like one thick beard.  Lots of times what looks like multiple beards is actually just a single beard that splits in 2 like a cowlick.

I've killed more than my share, pretty lucky when it comes to multi-beards.  I've killed them from two to seven beards.  Only have had one mounted.
