Title: It just not hunting camp without......
Post by: nogoodreezen on April 07, 2013, 09:59:15 PM
Stitches!!! Haha. My buddy tried to pick up the bird my daughter shot a little too soon.  The bird flopped and ran an inch and a quarter of bone in his hand. Not sure he found it humorous but we did get it on video. Luckily we had a doctor in camp. He had a suture kit in his truck. A shot of litocain and 6 stitches later he is fine.

Ouch! Glad your daughter got one, but man that sounds painful.

We actually didn't video the stitches. We were filming when he got spurred. I have to five him credit. He didn't even cuss on my daughter's video.

I did same thing about three years ago...didn't need stitches but I still have a scar.

It only took me once to learn that the hard way!!!

Took one in the middle of my right palm. I was by myself and had to drive over an hour home with a stick shift...

Talk about sore - that was one of the worst dull aches I have ever had.
