Shot a nice gobbler today on a farm in Pageland SC. He weighed 22 lbs and was sporting 4 beards totaling 31 1\2 inches and 1 1\4 black tip spurs !!! I got a he fired up and he started gobbling is head off !!! She came in and he followed her on a string . I shot him at 35 yards . I was using my Yellow Venom mouth call made by Scott Ellis with Woodhaven game calls . Also this hunt was very special because I had my 13 year old daughter with me ! She was really excited!! This was my biggest bird ever !
