Is there anyone on our forum that is close by South West Michigan.I am here working at D.C.Cook Nuke plant until 4/20 and would like to get a hunt in when work is over. As it stands I should get my walking papers on April 20 season opens here April 22 I think,perfect timing. I did not bring my gun but will buy one if anyone can steer me to a turkey.

Sat and watched two long beards fight for 10 minutes over one hen this morning,they got me all fired up. Both of them had 10 inch beards or better.
If you don't have a permit already you won't be getting one.Unless you want to hunt the May 6th thru May 30 hunt. You must buy that permit prior to May 1st. also.

Upon further checking I may be wrong. seems that there are some leftover licenses available.May be for private land only.
